Sultan Ahmad Baheen tribute the credential letter as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Mongolia

On 26th of February, 2010 H.E. Sultan Ahmad Baheen, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, tribute his credential letter as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Mongolia, to H.E. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia.

H.E. Ambassador Baheen in a meeting after the precession of the credential letter with President of Mongolia, conveyed the best wishes of H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and said ‘both countries have historic relations and Afghanistan is firmly committed to strengthen and expand this relationship with Mongolia’.

During the tenure of his duty as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Mongolia, he would deliver utmost efforts for further strengthening the interrelated relationship between both countries’, H.E. the ambassador acknowledged.

H.E. Ambassador added, ‘government and people of Afghanistan expressed their gratitude to Mongolia’s active participation in providing military training to Afghan National Army, which shows the sign of goodwill friendship between the two countries.

Afghanistan would be eligible to learn from Mongolian successful trade benchmark schemes as a pilot project of a country that has enormous experience in livestock and raising cattle, and in addition, with such capacity and potential both countries could cooperate closely to boost up the agriculture sector.  

H.E. President of Mongolia showed his sincere jolty and expressed his best wishes to Sultan Ahmad Baheen during the tenure period of his appointment as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan in Mongolia, added ‘Government and people of Mongolia have special interest to the friendly country Afghanistan and willing to have a close relationship between the two countries. Mongolia not only interested to provide military cooperation but also willing to take active participation in reconstruction of Afghanistan, ‘President of Mongolia expressed’.

President of Mongolia stated that his government will put utmost efforts to support any issues that cause stability and security to Afghanistan, and willing for peace and constancy in Afghanistan.

President of Mongolia also promised that his country would accept the Afghanistan students to study in Mongolia.

He also informed that Mongolian government is willing to establish a research center for the study of Mongol Empire and its people remains in other parts of the world and this center is in very much in the position to invite the students and experts from people of Afghanistan for further knowledge and training enhancement in this center.

H.E. Ambassador Baheen said, ‘Afghanistan nations have active participation in the government of the country and in reality the political system and government of the country bounds to national partnership among all the ethnic groups of the country, Afghans play a vital important role in good governance process, peace keeping, reconstruction of the country.

In sideline to the above mentioned courtesy meeting with president of Mongolia, H.E. the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had courtesy meetings with Mongolian Defense minister, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Mines industries and with Deputy Minister of Commerce of Mongolia.
