Embassy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Beijing is functioning as the non-residence embassy of Afghanistan in Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Mongolia. H.E. Ambassador of Afghanistan is the in-charge of both diplomatic affairs.

1. On 23rd of February, 2010 H.E. Sultan Ahmad Baheen, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, tribute his credential letter as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to H.E. Ngyuen Minh Tret, President of Vietnam.

2. In addition, on 26th of February, 2010 H.E. Sultan Ahmad Baheen, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Beijing, People’s Republic of China, tribute his credential letter as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Mongolia, to H.E. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia.

During the tenure of his duty as non-residence Ambassador of Afghanistan to Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Mongolia, the Ambassador to deliver utmost efforts for further strengthening the interrelated relationship between Afghanistan – Vietnam and Afghanistan – Mongolia,' H.E. the ambassador acknowledged'.
